Kai and her father, Ryan, underwent their surgeries for transplant at Georgetown. All of Kai's pre and post treatment has been and continues to be conducted at Georgetown as well. Their continued commitment to research in Pediatric Liver Transplant gives us hope that Kai will, one day, live a more normal life. Ryan's surgery was also paid for by the hospital.
